Having always had a love of animals, when Lynda became interested in photography, it seemed a natural progression into pet photography. Practicing on her own dogs, and then those of friends and family, she found a niche with Assistance Dogs New Zealand, and became their official photographer for some years, alongside her own boutique pet photography business… until Covid redirected life.

Whether they be furry or feathered, Lynda tries to capture the unique personality of all animals, but in particular dogs, and the importance they play in our family lives. With that in mind, she and another pet photographer released a book in 2018, called ‘Celebrating Dogs’, which quickly sold out.

Awarded her LPSNZ in 2020, Lynda continues to enjoy and experiment with all genres of photography, but her real passion remains with the animals.
