A Fellow of the Photographic Society of New Zealand, Noelle Bennett is a self-taught photographer. Based in the foothills of the Southern Alps of New Zealand, her work has been recognised and awarded both nationally and internationally. With a passion for the natural world, she sees her camera as both her paint brush and her canvas, gifting her the luxury of self-expression whilst at the same time reminding her that beauty transcends its conventional world view. She believes beauty can readily be found in the unlikeliest of places; in the mundane, in chaos, even in tragedy, saying that beauty in the unexpected is always there, just waiting to be found. She urges us to take our time; to open our minds as well as our eyes; to look, but most importantly, to see.
