Annette Johnston APSNZ

Annette is perhaps recognized as a photographer who specialises in floral photography; however, her portfolio is both broad and eclectic. Having cut her photography teeth on the sports fields whilst following her family’s various passions she will, and has, attempted almost all genres.

With an intentional fine art approach, her style is one of simplicity; clean lines, clean borders and a determination to unearth classical shape and form wherever it can be found, often belying the actual complexity of composition.

Annette has a fascination with storytelling, constantly working towards the development of the skill, looking and seeing.

Her choice of topic for the Taupo Regional Convention will be “Finding the extraordinary in the ordinary”.
