FT 2: Packard Museum

There are five large sheds to wander through and people will be free to spend as much time as they want in each. There is plenty of rust and chrome for interesting photos. There are large trucks and industrial machinery outside as well.

The museum collection includes over 50 Packard cars, 65 classic motorcycles, English cars, trucks, army vehicles and militaria, fire engines, steam and traction engines, earth-moving machinery and more.

This special collection shows how technology changed from horse and oxen power through to the tractors, bulldozers and heavy earth-moving machinery used by the people who built New Zealand’s infrastructure.

Cost: $20 per person
